No – we don’t believe in long-term contracts. Having a client locked-in with an agency they don’t want to work with doesn’t do anyone any good. If we aren’t providing value and you don’t see impact with us as your digital marketing agency, then we don’t want you to stay.

Once you’re confirmed and accepted the estimate, Iron Edge Design’s billing team will send you an invoice for 75% of the estimated web build. That will need to be paid before any work begins. Once the website is complete you’ll get an invoice for the remaining 25% before we make the website live.

Hosting is required for every website in the world; it’s how the contents of the website are stored. Iron Edge Design might be your hosting provider (if on WordPress) or you’ll have a self-hosted option if  Iron Edge Design builds you on a platform that requires self-hosting (Shopify or Squarespace).

No, we don’t host or manage email accounts or directories. We can however work with your email provider  to ensure it’s properly setup to the domain.

Yes, you still need to renew/purchase your domain/URL via a web registrar. Iron Edge Design  is NOT a domain registrar and therefore cannot renew it on your behalf.

This varies depending on the website—you can change your material as frequently as you feel is appropriate for your brand and mission. You only need to decide how frequently you will update your material. But keep in mind—customers love new, original content (and Google rewards it). On a more practical note: upgrading may be required due to changes in technology or SEO requirements, e.g., Google’s algorithms recently changed drastically impacting organic visits for many sites. Speak with your website design and development team to determine the frequency of these upgrades. They will examine your website’s functionality and make sure all links are operational.

  • A basic Basic one page website costs about R999.
  • A more complex website such as a eCommerce, business or personal website design that is dynamic costs about R3500 and up.
  • Website cost can also vary on the amount of changes and revisions of the website which is states in our quote. After the revisions are exceeded we charge a hourly rate of R250.

No. If you have more customers than you can handle and don’t want anymore then you might not need a website. However if you want to expand the business, get more enquiries or become the go to person in your space then you should have a website.

No. All of our client meetings are done over Zoom or via the phone. It’s rare that we NEED to meet people face to face. Technology allows us to do so much in a small space of time so we don’t believe face to face meetings are necessary.

We are always happy to meet you in person if you really need us to but we’ll arrange a consultation price for travel and possible accommodation depending on the distance.
